Calculations and saved scenarios
Calculations run in your browser and are not automatically sent to a ZuneCalculator backend. There is no Zune account or database sync. Saved scenarios use browser-local storage under the key zune-scenarios and include input values, a scenario label, calculator ID and model version.
Managing local data
Saved scenarios remain in that browser profile until you delete them or clear site data. They do not automatically follow you to another device. Other people using the same browser profile may see them. Browser storage is not a secure vault for confidential information.
CSV exports
CSV exports are created locally and downloaded to your device. You control where you keep or share them. The site does not automatically upload exported files.
Hosting requests
The hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. Browser-local calculations do not prevent those normal hosting requests. Avoid putting confidential information in page URLs.
Optional Google Analytics 4
With your affirmative consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand use of pages and calculator features and improve the site. Analytics is off by default and Google Analytics is not loaded before consent. It runs only on zunecalculator.com, not local development, staging or preview hosts.
Information used for analytics
GA4 uses first-party cookies and browser identifiers and processes browser/device information, technical connection information and approximate location derived from your IP address. Granular location and device collection is disabled; broad location and device categories may still be processed. We send only clean public page paths and fixed calculator IDs or action categories. We do not send calculator inputs, monetary values, results, reverse targets, saved scenario names or IDs, email addresses, search text, URL query strings or fragments.
Privacy controls and retention
Google Signals, advertising personalization, User-ID and user-provided data collection are disabled. Automatic form and site-search tracking are disabled. GA4 user and event data retention is set to two months, without resetting retention on new activity. Aggregated standard reports may remain longer. Our GA cookies expire after 60 days without refreshing that expiry on activity.
Consent and withdrawal
Use Analytics preferences in the footer to allow analytics or turn it off at any time. Turning it off unloads analytics, stops future collection and clears this integration’s GA cookies; it cannot recall information already sent. We store your choice locally under zune-analytics-consent-v1 until you clear site data or change it. Calculators work equally well with analytics off.
Google and international processing
Google processes analytics information on infrastructure that may be outside your country, including in the United States and other countries. Google’s privacy policy and partner-site information explain its processing and safeguards.
Contact and questions
The Contact page states whether a public email channel is available. If enabled and you choose to email, your email provider and the receiving provider process the message and address to deliver it; the recipient uses its contents to respond. Do not send credentials, confidential financial records or unnecessary personal information.
